Olympus Mobility is a Belgian mobility platform for employers. One app gives employees more than 40 mobility services, from trains and shared bikes to taxis, parking and charging, and every expense lands on a single monthly invoice. It handles the federal mobility budget, commuting allowances, business travel and cafeteria plans without the paperwork.
About Olympus Mobility
Olympus Mobility started as a pilot project with the Belgian railways (SNCB) and has been working since 2015 to make alternative mobility simple for everyone. It has grown into a mobility platform with 1 million users and more than 10 years of experience in corporate mobility management. Its offer covers SMEs and large companies, micro-businesses with 1 to 10 employees, self-employed people and the employees themselves. The platform brings together more than 40 mobility services in one app, with a management portal for HR and a payroll module. Olympus works with leasing companies, cities, municipalities and banks to make the switch to alternative mobility easier. Customers include Sweco, Mediahuis, Bank Van Breda, Nestlé, Nokia, EY and KPMG. The company is ISO 27001 certified, won the Smart Mobility Award of the FPS Mobility and Transport and the Business Mobility Award of VSV Verkeerskunde, and was nominated three times for the Deloitte Technology Fast 50.

What Olympus Mobility has delivered
Sweco BelgiumEngineering consultancy
An award-winning mobility policy with the Olympus app
With 9 offices and 1,300 employees, Sweco Belgium wanted fewer business trips, more sustainable travel and a greener fleet. It gave employees the Olympus app on top of their company car, so that all sustainable options are in their pocket: they can buy a train ticket on the way to the station. The company reports no extra cost, because it recovers the sustainable mobility allowances through lower fuel bills, and the clear invoicing and fully digital platform reduce manual work. Sweco won gold at the link2fleet awards in 2019 and FLEET Mobility Manager of the Year in 2023.
Making mobility more sustainable after an office move
In 2019 Mediahuis closed its Groot-Bijgaarden offices and moved to its Antwerp head office and new offices in central Brussels. The group, which has committed to Science Based Targets, wanted to make travel more sustainable while supporting employees through the change. It first surveyed staff, then chose Olympus Mobility through KBC Autolease and the mobility consultancy Traject. Employees now decide how to use their mobility budget: some pick a car with a lower total cost of ownership and spend the rest on alternative mobility, others switch completely. The fleet team points to large savings on administration and a user-friendly management portal.
Rolling out the federal mobility budget without the admin nightmare
Business & Decision moved from a cash-for-car formula in 2020 to the federal mobility budget in 2021. Some employees barely used their company car but bore its cost, while the company also paid for public transport. The criteria for a new solution were employee satisfaction, lower CO₂ emissions and no extra workload for HR and finance. With Olympus Mobility, users check their budget in real time, expenses including housing costs are deducted immediately, and reimbursements are paid directly by Olympus. The Mobility Manager estimates the administrative cost saved at almost the work of a half-time employee.
A new mobility policy built around the mobility budget
In 2020 Bank Van Breda overhauled its car policy with two goals: cut total CO₂ emissions by at least 25% by 2025, with mobility accounting for 71% of its emissions, and give employees more choice. Not every employee wants a company car: some prefer to do without one, others choose a more economical vehicle. The bank compared tools on value for money and possibilities, and chose Olympus Mobility to offer these alternatives through the federal mobility budget.

Sustainable business travel without the admin mess
B-architecten's architects travel constantly to projects and meetings. The firm used to manage train travel cards, a shared car and a few bikes, and before it had offices in Brussels and Ghent everyone came to Antwerp to collect keys and cards, logged in Outlook calendars. It tested the Olympus app with a small team of frequent travellers, got only positive feedback and rolled it out to the whole group. Architects now buy tickets in the app, a reduced rate for light users keeps costs under control, and staff say they discover new services and take public transport more often.
