B-Watt designs and installs solar panels, batteries, EV chargers and energy management systems for Belgian businesses, and handles every step itself, from the technical visit to commissioning and monitoring.
About B-Watt
B-Watt was founded in 2022 and is based in Gembloux, in the province of Namur. It supports businesses, SMEs, retailers and industrial sites, as well as private homes, across Wallonia, Brussels and Flanders. The team covers five fields: photovoltaics, battery storage, EV charging, energy management systems (EMS) and off-grid projects. B-Watt runs every step itself, with no intermediary: technical visit and drone survey, 3D layout and quarter-hourly self-consumption modelling, switchboards and decoupling cabinets built in its own workshop, installation, commissioning, administrative follow-up, then monitoring and maintenance contracts with performance guarantees for large installations. It also helps clients earn from their batteries on the day-ahead and imbalance markets and offers financing so projects do not tie up cash. Its references include the Tero padel club in Namur, John Jacob, Animo Studios in Brussels and La Fabrique Circuit Court, and clients shown on its site include Delhaize, Carrefour, Equans and RTBF.

Running a padel complex off-grid with solar and batteries
Tero's new padel complex in Namur ended up with only 11 kVA of grid connection, for an estimated consumption of around 400 MWh a year and peaks of up to 145 kW. The club first opened on a diesel generator. B-Watt installed solar panels, 522 kWh of Solis batteries with 250 kW of battery power and an EMS, keeping the generator only as a backup in winter and mid-season. The site now runs off-grid and maximises the use of locally produced energy, and the system will stay useful once more grid power arrives.
Charging an electric van fleet on a limited grid connection
Landscaping company John Jacob wanted to electrify its vans, but its grid connection (40 A, then 80 A) could not cover the charging needs. B-Watt combined solar panels, a hybrid inverter, WECO batteries, eight Peblar chargers and a Nexxtlab EMS. During the day, solar power runs the site and fills the batteries; in the evening, when the teams come back and plug in, the stored energy supports charging without exceeding the connection.
Splitting one solar plant across four food businesses
La Fabrique Circuit Court in Suarlée hosts short-supply-chain food businesses: offices, an ice-cream maker, a ready-meal workshop and a refrigerated warehouse, each with its own meter. B-Watt covered the roofs of both buildings with 546 panels and spread production over the four meters according to each activity's needs. The panels face four directions so that production starts early and ends late, which raises self-consumption and avoids a sharp midday peak on the public grid.
