Advisory & TrainingProcurement & SupplyScope 3

Intysify is the sustainability branch of the Brussels consultancy Intys. Its consultants work inside client operations, in procurement, supply chain, energy and reporting, to turn climate and ESG goals into measurable results.

About Intysify

Intysify was founded by three members of Intys, a Brussels consultancy in operational excellence, as a branch dedicated to sustainability. Drawing on Intys' more than 15 years of experience in operational excellence, it links strategy implementation and sustainability so that clients make an effective and measurable environmental transition. In 2025 it counted more than 50 consultants committed to sustainable transformation, more than 25 projects with a positive impact and more than 16 companies supported in their transition. Its expertise covers decarbonisation, green procurement, ESG and CSRD reporting, sustainable products and services, support for certifications, circular economy and sustainable finance. It works for clients in energy, retail and logistics, industry and the public sector, either reinforcing their teams or delivering projects end to end. Besides consulting, it runs tailored trainings and hosts roundtables, such as a decarbonisation roundtable organised with Lhoist and a meeting of Belgian purchasing managers on green procurement. Intysify is based on Avenue de Tervueren in Brussels.

What Intysify has delivered

Belgian advanced materials multinational (anonymised)Advanced materials

Engaging 400+ critical suppliers in responsible purchasing

A Belgian advanced materials multinational aiming for net-zero Scope 1 and 2 by 2035 had just launched a responsible purchasing policy and wanted ESG commitments from more than 400 critical suppliers worldwide. Supplier engagement was low, especially among SMEs, procurement teams were not yet on board, and tools such as EcoVadis were not connected. An Intysify consultant coordinated the roll-out across all procurement units: a single deployment framework, a tracking tool that consolidates Ariba and EcoVadis data, invitations for suppliers to sign the UGSSP and complete EcoVadis assessments, escalation paths for unresponsive or high-risk suppliers, and training for buyers across regions. Intysify also contributed to the governance framework for CBAM compliance.

  • Most critical suppliers engaged in less than a year
  • More than half completed a verified EcoVadis assessment
  • Sustainable sourcing embedded as a pillar of global operations

Major Belgian retailer (anonymised)Retail

Supplier engagement for a 45% cut in Scope 3 emissions by 2030

A major Belgian retailer has set itself the target of cutting its Scope 3 emissions by 45% by 2030, and most of its footprint comes from its supply chain. Its suppliers range from multinationals to SMEs, and many lack data, method or resources when the yearly data collection opens. Since July 2024 an Intysify consultant has supported the decarbonisation strategy: she handles supplier requests, finds bottlenecks and analyses why some suppliers do not report, compares self-reported data with external estimates and follows up on large gaps, and works with internal teams so that carbon becomes part of commercial negotiations.

  • Supplier engagement tailored to each reporting barrier
  • More reliable supplier carbon data
  • Climate built into commercial negotiations

Brussels South Charleroi AirportAviation

A green procurement diagnosis aligned with ISO 20400

Brussels South Charleroi Airport (BSCA) wanted to start a responsible purchasing approach. In March 2025 Intysify ran a two-week mission: interviews with buyers, technical managers and senior management, a review of internal procurement documents, and a qualitative assessment against each pillar of ISO 20400, the international standard for sustainable procurement. The findings were consolidated in a SWOT matrix, showing strengths such as the will to act and internal commitment, and gaps such as the lack of ESG risk analysis for suppliers, with concrete recommendations to integrate ESG into procurement.

  • A clear picture of current procurement practices in two weeks
  • Concrete recommendations to integrate ESG into procurement

Les Petits RiensSocial economy · Reuse

A leaner supply chain for a second-hand social enterprise (pro bono)

Les Petits Riens fights poverty and exclusion in Belgium by reintegrating people through circular economy activities such as collecting and reselling second-hand goods. To increase its impact, it needed more efficient operations and better stock management. In a pro bono mission, Intysify audited the collection, sorting, distribution and outbound processes, identified bottlenecks and improvement levers, recommended supply chain changes and a better allocation of resources, proposed a governance model and performance indicators, prepared digitisation with an ERP, and helped the teams put the recommendations into practice.

  • Better allocation of resources to maximise social impact
  • Monitoring tools for continuous improvement
