Next Mobility is a Brussels consultancy that helps companies make sustainable mobility work in practice: mobility budget, car and mobility policy, fleet electrification, charging, parking and supplier selection. The team stays involved from strategy to implementation and coaches employees through the change.
About Next Mobility
Next Mobility was founded by Nicolas Verstraete and André Simonart, who wanted a leaner, simpler and more concrete kind of mobility consulting. The firm is based in Brussels and works in French, Dutch and English. Its team of four combines fleet, mobility, HR and change management experience: the two co-founders, a senior consultant who works on fleet electrification, mobility budgets and infrastructure, and a consultant focused on zero-emission fleets. Its promise is a clear, realistic and workable strategy, implemented from A to Z, with simple internal management and attention to everyone involved: employees, decision makers and social partners. Services cover mobility strategy projects, operational roll-out, training, coaching, events and workshops, on topics from the mobility budget and car policy to charging infrastructure, parking, van fleets and supplier selection. Recent work includes a multimodal access sheet for Athora's Brussels head office, a sustainable mobility workshop for SeGEC and a feasibility study for electrifying a van fleet. Clients shown on its site include Elia, Speos, the Société wallonne des eaux and the municipality of Anderlecht.

What Next Mobility has delivered
Athora BelgiumInsurance
A multimodal access sheet for a Brussels head office
Athora Belgium wanted an up-to-date access sheet for its head office on avenue du Port in Brussels, for staff, visitors and partners, in line with sustainable mobility. Next Mobility mapped the surroundings (entrances, mobility hubs, nearby stations, cycling infrastructure) and designed a custom double-sided A4 sheet in Athora's branding, covering public transport, cycling, walking, car sharing and micromobility. It delivered a final PDF ready for the intranet, reception, onboarding and email signatures.
A better welcome for employees and visitors
A CSR communication tool that highlights sustainable options
A sustainable mobility workshop for a school network
SeGEC, the body that supports Catholic schools in French-speaking Belgium, wanted to address sustainable mobility concretely during its study day on 17 March 2025. Next Mobility opened with a 40-minute interactive talk on mobility trends (infrastructure, taxation, transport modes, work organisation) with examples suited to SeGEC. Participants then spent 60 minutes in sub-groups on commuting, business travel and emissions, and a 20-minute plenary set the priority actions to be taken forward by a dedicated working group.

Coaching staff through fleet electrification and a car-free mobility budget
A large Belgian company wanted to speed up the electrification of its fleet and make its car-free mobility budget work. Next Mobility held info sessions for every employee due to order a new vehicle, explaining the mobility package and the options already in place, followed by optional 30-minute one-to-one sessions on each person's situation. The flexible part of the budget is managed by employees themselves, so the personalised approach did not add internal workload.
