Easy'Green is the low-carbon loan of Wallonie Entreprendre (WE), the public investment company of Wallonia. It funds up to 100% of the projects that cut a company's carbon footprint, up to €1 million per project and with no application fees, and WE adds free low-carbon diagnostics and a network of experts to get those projects started.
Wallonie Entreprendre (WE) is the public investment company of Wallonia, based in Liège. It supports companies at every stage, from creation to transfer, with capital, loans and guarantees, works alongside banks and private funds, and invests for the long term: its investments are valued at €4.1 billion, and in 2025 the group invested €613 million in 1,330 companies and projects. WE's energy and circular transition team combines technical and financial skills. It raises awareness, offers free energy and low-carbon diagnostics through a network of advisers, connects SMEs with private experts, and runs the PME Green Challenge, which over its first editions has supported 64 companies, carried out 64 low-carbon diagnostics and identified 559 improvement points, with 3,033 tonnes of CO₂ saved on the investments WE financed alone. On the financing side, WE lent more than €182.6 million to 1,254 companies through Easy'Green between 2017 and mid-2025, and in 2024 committed €156 million, a third of its investment budget, to about 250 energy projects. A €100 million loan from the European Investment Bank and a platform launched with Reno.energy and Virya Energy to fund on-site renewables extend this offer. Easy'Green is supported by the European Union and Wallonia through the European Regional Development Fund.
Many companies want to produce their own power but do not want to tie up several million euros in an energy installation. In 2026 WE, Reno.energy and Virya Energy launched a financing platform for companies and public bodies that removes this upfront investment. Its first project is at the Knauf site in Visé: one of the largest solar canopies in Belgium, with 24,000 panels spread over 75,000 m².

The buildings of Bertrand & Darimont, a heating and solar installer in the Verviers and Liège area, were heated with gas. An Easy'Green loan let the company finance the switch to renewable energy quickly, with WE's team following the project throughout.
Neoceram makes precision ceramic dosing systems, mainly for the pharmaceutical industry. It joined WE's PME Green Challenge focused on solar panels, then ran energy, heating and carbon audits to look at its whole consumption. The company left with about twenty improvement points and access to financing such as the Easy'Green loan to carry them out.
