About seewhy
seewhy was co-founded in 2021 by Pascale Simon and Anne Sophie Pijcke and is based on Avenue Louise in Brussels. Pascale Simon, Managing Partner, spent 15 years at Russell Reynolds Associates and then led the CEO & Board and Financial Services practices at Heidrick & Struggles. Anne Sophie Pijcke, co-founder and Senior Advisor, has contributed to the Belgian corporate governance codes and has been Special ESG advisor for Euronext Group since 2017 and a board member of Forum Ethibel. Partners Caroline Thijssen, William Mosseray and Laura Lannoo bring board, executive and family business experience; Laura Lannoo co-authored the Buysse Code IV for unlisted companies. The firm reports more than 150 years of combined experience and more than 300 board directors assessed. It serves boards only, with services delivered exclusively by senior partners, in French, Dutch and English. Clients shown on its website include UCB, Ageas, Belfius, D'Ieteren Group, Euroclear, Deloitte, AXA and Puratos, along with WWF and Climact.
