Nnof (Nearly New Office Facilities) is a workplace firm based in Vilvoorde that refurbishes and redesigns the office furniture a company already owns instead of replacing it with new. Its team also covers workplace strategy, interior design, change management and project management for office moves and refits.
About Nnof
Nnof was started by Didier Pierre and his brother, who ran a moving company and found it absurd to drive away a truck of old office furniture only to install a truck of new furniture. Their answer: collect the furniture, dismantle it, keep the parts and rework them into nearly new office furniture that fits today's workplace concepts. From Vilvoorde, the team now brings together interior designers, work psychologists, project managers, furniture designers and transformation specialists. Since a management buy-out in 2023, Nnof, the moving company Transmoove and Nnofcare form one group, half owned by six of its managers and half by the Antwerp moving firm Gosselin Group, so a client can hand over design, the move and related services to a single contact person. Nnof is EMAS registered and ISO 14001 certified, holds the Unizo label "Handmade in Belgium" and signed a refurbishment framework contract with the Flemish government at the end of 2019. Its references include the Flemish government, VDAB, RGF Staffing, Spadel, D'Ieteren, Deloitte, Sonaca, Dow and the city of Mechelen. Nnof does not take commissions from subcontractors, and it also sells second-hand office furniture through its webshop RE-SHOP.

A refurbishment framework contract for Flemish public bodies
At the end of 2019 the Flemish government signed a framework contract with Nnof for furniture refurbishment. Every Flemish government department, as well as public institutions, cities, municipalities and public social welfare centres (OCMW), can use it to order refurbishment instead of new furniture. Furniture is reused as much as possible; when that is not possible, the good parts are recovered to make other items. In 2020 the contract saved more than 27,000 kg of CO₂, including 2,280 kg at POM West-Vlaanderen.
Refitting five VDAB offices with refurbished furniture
Through the Flemish government framework contract, Nnof refurbished furniture for the refit of the offices of VDAB, the Flemish public employment service, in Brussels, Mechelen, Diest, Aalst and Tienen. This was the largest saving achieved under the contract in 2020.
The Antwerp head office of staffing group RGF Staffing (Start People, USG, Unique) on the Frankrijklei was renovated under Nnof's lead, from defining the vision with management to interior design and change management, through to delivery with skilled craftspeople. Reuse and refurbishment were applied throughout. The new layout focuses on shared informal spaces and formal meeting rooms, with multifunctional rooms that support employee wellbeing.
