ISO 14001 certification on a tight deadline
Telespazio Belgium wanted an environmental management system that meets ISO 14001 and certification within a short timeframe, with limited internal resources and open questions about what the standard actually requires. Intraco analysed the starting situation to identify significant environmental impacts and existing controls, built a work plan sized to the team's availability, ran the project end to end and adapted the management system tools so internal teams could own them, explaining each requirement along the way.

Ideatec, based in Fernelmont, designs, builds and services centralised systems and sirens for emergency and service vehicles. Intraco had already set up its ISO 9001 quality system; the company then wanted to add environmental (ISO 14001) and health and safety (ISO 45001) management, on a tight schedule and with its staff on board. Intraco's consultant visited the site regularly with management and staff, introduced simple tools, followed a step-by-step action plan, ran the internal audits and trained the teams as the project went along.

Starfresh, a Liège fruit and vegetable wholesaler, had to renew its class 2 environmental permit without the internal resources to manage it, with open questions about a technical and geographical unit shared with other operators of the Liège market and a planned extension that could require a single permit. Intraco visited the site, drew up an environmental baseline covering the soil decree and the CoDT, wrote the full technical file and annexes, handled contacts with the authorities on the shared-unit question and guided the client's internal data collection.
