EcoPilot is a service of Domintell, a Belgian company based in Nivelles that has specialised in smart building solutions for more than thirty years. Domintell designs all its software and produces its own electronic modules in Belgium, and provides daily support for its equipment. Close to 10,000 installations in more than 35 countries run on its system. EcoPilot is its energy monitoring offer: sensors on the electricity supply and on any resource or appliance you choose, a dashboard that can be tailored, then automations to save energy. It covers electricity, gas, heating oil and water, as well as storage levels such as fuel or rainwater, and suits everything from homes and SMEs to heavy industry and multi-site chains. This family ice-cream business in Ciney, running since 1992, has two solar arrays, a restaurant and its own production site. The goal was to consume as much solar energy as possible and find the equipment that wasted energy. EcoPilot tracks 17 parameters across electricity, heating oil and water. The dashboard shows each piece of equipment live or over time, together with the weather forecast and the expected solar production for the day and the next, so the team can schedule production peaks when green energy is available. A cost view compares current spending with a simulated dynamic tariff.

A former farmhouse in Ciney was split into several holiday units, each with its own switchboard and water and gas connections, plus two EV chargers, a pool and a sauna. EcoPilot gathers 18 parameters across electricity, gas and water into one dashboard, for the whole site and per building or equipment. Measuring the pool and sauna lets the owners set a fair flat rate for guests, live monitoring flags leaks and forgotten appliances, and automations charge vehicles in the cheapest hours while giving priority to the cottages when the switchboard nears its maximum power.
