Coliseum Construction

Coliseum Construction

Waste & CircularProcurement & SupplyLogisticsScope 3

Coliseum supplies professional builders with circular construction materials (reclaimed, surplus and second choice), sourced from a network of partners and delivered to site with an estimate of the CO2 avoided.

About Coliseum Construction

Coliseum was founded by Marc-Antoine and Barthélemy, two entrepreneurs who know construction from both sides: Marc-Antoine as a contractor, Barthélemy as a client. They kept seeing circular practices abandoned because they were too complex, so they built a single supplier of reclaimed and surplus building materials. Its mission is to cut the carbon footprint of construction by limiting material waste, and to make reuse simple and economical enough to compete with new materials. The offer covers floors, insulation, structural and finishing wood, facade materials and sanitary fittings, drawn from a wide network of partners gathered in one catalogue. Coliseum handles upstream dismantling, reconditioning and storage, delivers on the requested date and estimates the CO2 impact of each operation using public reference databases such as TOTEM and INIES. Its clients include CFE, Eiffage, CIT Blaton, Louis De Waele, Democo and Atenor, and it has been featured by RTBF and La Libre.

What Coliseum Construction has delivered

CIT Blaton × TeroSports & leisure

Turning a reclaimed roof deck into a padel club terrace

A building being converted by CIT Blaton had 200 m² of wood on its roof. Rather than discarding it, Coliseum recovered the wood and gave it a second life as the terrace of Tero's new padel club in Waterloo. Coliseum estimates that the operation avoided around 6 tonnes of CO2.
