Waste & CircularScope 3Belcyco is a Belgian family company that rents waste containers and collects, sorts and pre-treats waste for businesses, construction sites, households and municipalities across Liège, Namur, Walloon Brabant and Luxembourg provinces, from three sorting centres in Gouvy, Welkenraedt and Namur.
About Belcyco
Belcyco (BElgian reCYcling COmpany) started in 2009 as Ardenne Container, when Johnny Arnauts began renting a handful of containers to professionals and households from the Courtil business park in Gouvy, then built his own recycling site there. In 2018 the company took over TP Recup in Welkenraedt, a specialist in collecting and processing glass, plastics and paper and cardboard, which extended its reach across Liège province. The sites were brought together under the Belcyco name in 2021, and a 10,000 m² recycling site opened in Namur (Cognelée) in 2025 to serve Namur, Walloon Brabant and part of Hainaut, with a container park for non-hazardous waste open to businesses and individuals. Today the family company runs three sorting and pre-treatment centres, rents removable and wheeled containers, and provides door-to-door collection, recycling-centre transport and street cleaning for municipalities.
