Urbeez is a Brussels last-mile delivery company that carries parcels, meals, groceries and newspapers through cities with a 100% electric fleet of cargo bikes, scooters and vans, driven by employed and insured couriers. It can also store your goods in city-centre micro-hubs and prepare orders there, so products are already close to your customers.
About Urbeez
Angelino Capretti founded Urbeez in Brussels in 2020. After running operations for the shared scooter operator Tier Mobility, he could not find a logistics company working only with electric vehicles, so he built one. Urbeez raised €2.5 million from logistics investors in December 2020, expanded to Antwerp, Ghent and Paris in 2021, and has been part of PPP, the Belgian newspaper delivery group, since 2023. Urbeez says it has delivered more than 2 million parcels without using any petrol. Its couriers are employees paid by the hour and insured, not freelancers. Urbeez has worked with Amazon, Colruyt, IKEA, Metro, MediaMarkt, Sushi Shop and Frichti. It also services fleets for shared micro-mobility operators, is the official distributor of Yokler cargo tricycles in Belgium and, since 2025, runs TOTO, a car wash near Brussels-Midi station that also cleans bikes.

What Urbeez has delivered
PPP and MetroPress distribution
Delivering newspapers by electric vehicle every morning
PPP delivers daily newspapers to subscribers in Belgium. Every morning, several Urbeez couriers work exclusively on PPP rounds, following each step of the delivery in the Falcon app. Urbeez extended this to Metro, delivering the free daily to stations in the Brussels-Capital Region so commuters find it when they start their day. PPP, first a customer, acquired Urbeez in 2023 to make its own distribution greener.

Launching a Brussels meal service with electric delivery
When the Paris meal and grocery brand Frichti opened in Brussels in June 2021, it chose Urbeez to deliver its fresh, local and seasonal products. Urbeez couriers on electric bikes and scooters covered the central and southern districts of the capital from day one, without engine noise or exhaust.
Delivery 7 days a week, from 9 am to 10 pm
Ixelles, Etterbeek, Saint-Gilles, Uccle, Watermael-Boitsfort and Auderghem covered at launch
Hot lunches from a central kitchen to pick-up points
Tiffin Time cooks its meals in a central kitchen and serves customers through pick-up points. Every lunchtime, Urbeez couriers carry the hot meals from the kitchen to these points by electric vehicle, so dishes arrive warm and on time without a fuel-powered van.
Keeping shared bikes and scooters charged and in place
Shared bike and scooter operators lose rides every time a vehicle sits with a flat battery or in the wrong place, and vans cannot reach many of the spots where riders leave them. Urbeez swaps batteries wherever the vehicles are parked, collects, moves and redeploys them, repairs mechanical issues, and can prepare or remove a whole fleet when an operator enters or leaves a city.
