“Tous vélo-actifs” is an awareness-raising and communication campaign to promote commuting by bike. The operation supports and accompanies Walloon employers (private and public companies, hospitals, universities and colleges, local authorities) who commit to implementing an intensive action plan to promote cycling within their entity. Support includes a bicycle audit and the drafting of a short-, medium- and long-term action plan. The action plan is reviewed and evaluated regularly, and may lead to official Walloon certification. The operation finances training courses in companies to make it easier to get on the bike. It also organizes events and awareness-raising campaigns, notably during the Spring Bike Festival and Mobility Week. It also organizes workshops and webinars on topics relating to the use and promotion of bicycles, in particular to share best practices. Finally, the advisors in charge of the project act as experts at events, seminars and working sessions organized by various players in civil society. These events are free of charge, as they are financed by Wallonia.

The operation encourages a modal shift towards cycling for less pollution, less congested roads and better health for users.
