🔥 What you’ll be doing
You’ll play a key role in the growth and retention of Tapio’s client base. Reporting to the Sales Team Lead and working cross-functionally with our product and sustainability teams, your responsibilities will include:
- Get new B2B clients across various sectors;
- Expand your industry network to become a go-to person in a sustainable, vibrant environment.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts (upselling, cross-selling, renewals);
- Deliver product demos and guide clients to maximise their use of the Tapio platform;
- Build trusted advisory relationships by understanding your clients’ sustainability goals and challenges;
- Act as the voice of the customer to our Product, Marketing, and Carbon teams;
- Participate in and represent Tapio at sustainability events, conferences, and workshops;
- Collaborate with Marketing to build customer success stories and references;
- Keep client data and activity up to date using CRM tools (Hubspot, Odoo);
- Continuously optimize account workflows and internal processes.
🎯 Your profile
We’re looking for someone who is ambitious, autonomous, client-oriented, and aligned with our mission.
Must-haves:
- 3 years of experience in B2B sales roles;
- Strong communication skills in English, French and/or Dutch;
- A passion for problem solving.
- Proven ability to build trust and drive value with B2B clients;
- Experience working with a CRM (e.g., Hubspot, Odoo);
- Solid understanding of sales pipelines, client success, and business growth strategies;
- A genuine interest in climate, sustainability, and green tech.
Bonus points:
- Knowledge of carbon accounting frameworks (GHG Protocol, LCA, SBTs, etc.);
- Background in tech/SaaS, sustainability, or climate consulting;
- A natural networker who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys client-facing work.
