Ces gaz ont la capacit&eacute; d&rsquo;absorber une partie des rayonnements infrarouges &eacute;mis par la Terre suite &agrave; l&rsquo;absorption du rayonnement solaire. Ce ph&eacute;nom&egrave;ne permet de maintenir une temp&eacute;rature moyenne d&rsquo;environ 15&deg;C sur Terre, rendant la vie viable pour la majorit&eacute; des esp&egrave;ces. Les gaz &agrave; effet de serre naturels comprennent la vapeur d&rsquo;eau (H&#8322;O), qui provient de l&rsquo;&eacute;vaporation et forme des nuages pour retomber sous forme de pr&eacute;cipitations sur Terre. Cela fait partie du cycle naturel de l&rsquo;eau.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Le dioxyde de carbone (CO&#8322;) est omnipr&eacute;sent; il provient, par exemple, de la respiration des organismes vivants ou des &eacute;ruptions volcaniques.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Le m&eacute;thane (CH&#8324;) peut provenir de diverses sources, mais principalement de l&rsquo;&eacute;levage de ruminants (vaches) et des zones humides ou marines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">L&rsquo;ozone (O&#8323;) est un gaz qui se forme dans l&rsquo;atmosph&egrave;re suite &agrave; une r&eacute;action chimique entre le dioxyg&egrave;ne (O&#8322;) et les rayonnements solaires. L&rsquo;accumulation de des mol&eacute;cules d&rsquo;ozone forme la couche d&rsquo;ozone qui absorbe une partie des rayonnements UV nocifs provenant du soleil.
